Returns an available brightness value which can be used by the opened source in its current configuration.

Syntax

object.TwainGetAvailableBrightnessNo (nNumber)

The TwainGetAvailableBrightnessNo syntax has these parts:

Part Description
object Required. An object expression that evaluates to an object in the Applies To list.
nNumber Required. Long. Index of the available brightness value. Must be a value between 1 and TwainGetAvailableBrightnessCount() returned value.

Returns

Double. The selected brightness value. Else 0 if fail.

Remarks

Before using this function check that the TWAIN state is >= 4 (TWAIN_SOURCE_OPEN)
To get the TWAIN state, use the TwainGetState() function.
