TwainDisableSource Method

Disables the open Data Source, if any.
This closes the source's user interface.

Syntax

object.TwainDisableSource ()

The TwainDisableSource syntax has these parts:

Part Description
object Required. An object expression that evaluates to an object in the Applies To list.

Returns

Boolean. True if success, else False -> Use TwainGetLastResultCode() and TwainGetLastConditionCode() functions for diagnosing the error.
If there is not an enabled source, does nothing and returns TRUE.

Remarks

Before using this function check that the TWAIN state is 5 (TWAIN_SOURCE_ENABLED).
If success, the twain state must be 4 (TWAIN_SOURCE_OPEN).
To get the TWAIN state, use the TwainGetState() function.
