Returns the current image compression used by the selected twain source for file transfer mode.

Returns

Current file format to use in file transfer mode. A member of the TwainCompression enumeration. TWCP_UNSUPPORTED If it is not supported by the current device (Use TwainGetLastResultCode() and TwainGetLastConditionCode() functions for diagnosing the error.)

Remarks

Before using this function check that the TWAIN state is >= 4 (TWAIN_SOURCE_OPEN) 

To get the TWAIN state, use the TwainGetState() function.
